MT. VINSON – 4.892m

On the Highest Mountain of Antarctica

In December 2014, we travelled to Antarctica for the first time with our friends Roland Kern (AUT) and Stephan Andres (ITA), as official mountain guide, to climb the highest mountain of the white continent. Mt. Vinson is one of the Seven Summits and is therefore a must for mountaineers who climb the highest peaks of all seven continents. We were the only ones who had come solely out of a love for exploration. When we stood on the summit and saw the boundless expanse and pristine nature of Antarctica, we knew that this continent had conquered our hearts forever. Thus began our profound relationship with the land of dreams.
